The Gang are four distinct personalities in the mind of one woman, the ship's linguist. Lena Adams is the sister of Sibyl Adams and she is the police detective. It's not overly graphic, but it is rather disturbing. A lot of techno jargon? All of those relationships play a part in her life, particularly the thorny broken love with her ex-husband, who just happens to be the town's chief of police.
